Dial-up Requirements: Modem
iPass Connect Software must be installed on your PC to give you the ability to roam with your existing TSTT Internet dial-up or High Speed Internet account. Please follow the steps below to install the iPass Connect Software.
Installing iPassConnect
Step 1 - Download iPass Connect Software
To begin downloading the iPass connect software from TSTT's web site,
click here.
You can only access the software
after you have signed up for the service, as you will be prompted to enter your Username and password.
Step 2 - Install iPass Connect Software
Using Windows Explorer, double click on the executable file, and follow the instructions on the screen.
Using iPassConnect
There are three basic steps to connect using iPass Connect:
- Setting your Username and password
- Selecting your modem
- Choosing the iPass access number
To accomplish the items listed above, follow the steps below:
Click on the iPass Connect icon on your Desktop.
Setting your user information
1. From the iPass Connect window, open the Options menu.
2. Select User Info.
3. Enter your Username and password.
4. Click Ok.
Enter the same Username and password that you use to access your TSTT Internet Service.
Selecting the modem
1. From the iPass Connect window, open the Options menu.
2. Select User Settings.
3. From the modem pull-down menu, select the correct modem.
4. Click Ok.
Choosing the access number
1. Select the country where you are currently located.
2. Select the state and/or city where applicable.
3. Select the number closest to your location.
4. Click on the Connect button.
It is recommended that you update the Phonebook before you travel abroad. This will ensure that you have the current numbers for all iPass access points.
First connect to TSTT's Internet service as you normally do,
- Open your iPass Connect client,
- Open Options and select Update Phonebook.
