12,000-plus trouble reports resolved in South

Regularly working long hours in a bid to bring relief to customers who had been without phone service for some time, TSTT’s Fixed Line (South) repaired more than 12,000 customer lines in a two month period late last year. This remarkable achievement by the six-member team did not go unnoticed, as the company recently hosted the employees at a special breakfast in celebration of their milestone. Robin Rampersad, Head of Public Offices – TSTT, had challenged the team to resolve 5,000 fixed line trouble reports monthly. The team accepted the challenge and exceeded the target, resolving 6,721 faults in September and 5,436 in October last year. The team comprised managers Claudius Jaggai and Ernest Peters, as well as Newton Moore, David Thomas, Mark Bachoolal and Janine Caesar.

In commending the employees, Rampersad said: “I am very proud of the team. They showed tremendous commitment and drive, and proved to be more than equal to the task.” This view was shared by TSTT’s Head of Public Relations and External Affairs, Camille Salandy, who felt that the crew gave an exemplary example of how customer-focused teamwork could bring rewards to the customer, the staff and the company. “At the end of the day, our customers are the reason for our company – and our employees are the source of our success in satisfying those customers.”
