Beyonce tops winner’s row at the 52nd Grammy Awards. R&B star adds six new awards to career achievements

Beyonce stood at the top of winners’ row with six Awards and in the process she re-wrote the record books of the Grammy Awards. Beyonce won: 1. Song of the Year – Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) 2. Best Female R&B Vocal Performance – Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) 3. Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance - At Last 4. Best R&B Song – Single Ladies (Put a ring on it) 5. Best Contemporary R&B Album – I Am……Sasha Fierce 6. Best Female Pop Vocal Performance - Halo The winning streak means that Beyonce now has the record for the most Grammy Awards ever won by any female artist in one night. Additionally, with 16 career Grammy Awards to her credit thus far, she is now the third highest ranked female Grammy Award winner of all time behind the legendary Aretha Franklin and country singer Alison Krauss.
