Olympic Javelin Gold Medallist Keshorn Walcott made a courtesy visit to Blink / bmobile today where he was enthusiastically received by Chairman of the Board Everald Snaggs along with acting CEO Dianna de Sousa and other executives and staff.

Blink / bmobile was the wireless provider for the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Team and sponsor of live local coverage and Chairman Snaggs said Keshorn's sterling performance made it all the more worthwhile for the company’s support of local athletes.

Keshorn was presented with the gift of the latest BlackBerry smartphone and airtime along with a steady stream of hugs and kisses from his growing fan base of TSTT employees.

In his younger days, Keshorn said he represented his school at the annual TSTT North Coast Primary School Games held on the Toco Composite School grounds. Back then his interests were in sprints. He subsequently developed his passion for javelin throwing and this year won gold at the World Junior Championships and became the youngest person and reportedly only the second non-European to win the Gold medal in 100 years of Olympic history.

Chairman Snaggs congratulated Keshorn on his phenomenal accomplishment and encouraged him to continue doing his best and making Trinidad and Tobago proud.
