blink | bmobile taking 10 to Brazil for World Cup

The many faces of Brazil-bliss as these customers find out they have won all inclusive blink| bmobile World Cup packages

The first 9 matches of FIFA 2014 World Cup have the world abuzz with a massive 31 goals scored and ten very lucky blink | bmobile costumers are now packing their bags to jet to Brazil and experience some of that one-of-a-kind excitement.

Lisa Ganga, Chad Cachie, Marissa Morris, Kareem Holder, Howard Williams, Indradray Alleng, Alicia Phillips, Beverly Burnette, Travis Hernandez and Sherena Khan received their boarding passes at the viewing party for the launch of the Fifa 2014 World Cup, hosted by blink | bmobile at Movietowne’s Fiesta Plaza.

“I am extremely happy, I just can’t stop smiling and I don’t smile,” said Kareem Holder. “It’s one of the greatest feelings in the world, I cannot really express it in words right now. When I got the call that I was one of the finalists, I was very surprised and then coming here and winning was overwhelming.”

Holder, who works in Health and Safety, had already called his boss, just moments after winning to arrange his time off. Like a true Trini however, he admitted that he would have found a way to go either way. Either way, the Argentina fan will be there to support his team with Brazil as his back-up side.

The prize also came as a surprise to Chad Cachie, a police officer. “I got the call that I was a finalist and I was like ‘Allyuh serious?’. This is the first time I have ever won a competition. It feels really good. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am definitely going to take full advantage of it.”

Luckily, according to Cachie, getting the time to make the trip should not be an issue, so hopefully, he will be cheering on his favorite team, Brazil.

For Shereen Khan, getting time off will be no problem, as she is the boss at her business place, Pretty Woman Cosmetics. “I am putting things in place in order to go. I can’t even find the words to tell you how I feel about winning.” Khan attended the event with her daughter and thanked blink | bmobile for the initiative and made special mention of the atmosphere and organization of the event. “I have never won anything in my life, so it was just amazing. Everything was well organized, you could tell it was fair, it all went smooth and nice and we had a wonderful time,” she said.

The winners of the competition will not only receive airfare to Brazil, but all inclusive hotel accommodation for seven days and six nights with meals included, ground transportation to and from the airport to hotel and matches along with tickets to one preliminary match and two semi-finals. In between that they will go on a special guided tour of the sights and sounds of Rio de Janeiro.

“I intend to have a great time and thoroughly enjoy this entire experience!” said Holder.
