Trinidad and Tobago is a land overflowing with talented young people who crave the opportunity to showcase their gifts.  In an effort to satisfy this need, Rhonda Moraldo and Shinelle Cottoy got together and formed the Inkredible Kreations Dance Company in 2011. The group offers a forum for those with the special skill in dance to reach for the sky and the blink I bmobile Foundation has accepted the invitation to help set the stage for the nurturing of these future stars.

Inkredible Kreations Dance Company (IKDC) which is based in South East, Port-of-Spain started off with only eight dancers but now boasts off over twenty four members and has grown from being a traditional dance group to one of the most versatile Performing Arts Companies in Trinidad and Tobago. They specialize in hip hop, soca, dancehall, R&B, contemporary and folk dance. The dancers have performed at events such as the Marley Brothers Show, Prime Ministers Best Village and alongside Brian MacFarlane in his Carnival 2013 launch. They are also regular guests on Synergy Nights Live.

In addition to supporting the group as they execute their daily operations blink I bmobile has reinforced its faith in the talent of the IKDC by utilising their dancers to produce the recent bmobile 4G launch advertisement. The blink I bmobile Foundation believes that as a nation we can reach our maximum potential once commitment is placed into properly fostering the talent of our youth who inevitably are our future.   According to Camille Salandy, Head of Public Relations and External Affairs at TSTT; “The Foundation understands how critical it is to motivate these young local stars since these individuals serve as ambassadors for our nation. Focusing our resources and energies on nurturing them now will only bring great rewards to our country’s future success.”

The IKDC not only has their local achievements to be proud of. The group also recently won the local Hip Hop Championships and is headed to Las Vegas in August to represent Trinidad and Tobago in the Annual World Hip Hop Championship, an international competition won by only one other local dance group, Eclectic Dance Group in 2007.

Rhonda Prince-Moraldo, Manager of Inkredible Kreations beams with pride when asked about the group; “We make each and every member feel like family and in addition to dance we encourage all our members to participate in choir, drama, dance, poetry, short story and also drumology. It has been such an exciting journey with these youngsters over the past three years. This latest achievement of qualifying to represent T&T in Las Vegas and go against the best dancers of the world is a dream come true. We have been able to reach this far because of the confidence placed in us by companies like blink I bmobile. The members were ecstatic to be a part of an advertisement for bmobile’s 4G, such a major product. This gave them a much needed push and encouragement to aim for the best.”

blink I bmobile applauds the Inkredible Kreations Dance Company for all of their accomplishments to date. There is no doubt that the groups will continue to shine and will make the nation proud in Las Vegas at Annual World Hip Hop Championship.
