bmobile critical services remain operational

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad - October 23, 2018

Following the adverse weather experienced in Trinidad and Tobago over the weekend, bmobile has maintained all of its critical communications online for emergency responders and the public. In localised areas work is continuing to restore services to customers in the shortest time possible.

Restoration of landline, broadband and mobile services for customers in Grande Riviere, Matelot and Shark River had been delayed due to power supply outages and debris obstructing access for repair crews. These issues have been resolved and bmobile maintenance personnel are working to fully restore services in those communities.

In St. Helena, bmobile’s equipment providing landline and broadband services has been severely damaged and repairs may take several days. While repairs are underway, bmobile is  exploring alternative interim measures for providing service to affected customers.

bmobile wishes to thank customers for their patience as the company works alongside the emergency responders and national community to ensure that our citizens lives are restored to normalcy.
