bmobile extends mobile range with Siemens

6 October, 2006

Young and hip mobile phone users will love the Siemens AL21 – a slide phone with the invitation to “Slide into beauty”. This stylish, pocket-sized handset is one of three tri-band phones from Siemens that will be available soon at bmobile stores nationwide.

The other two are the dynamic C71 (with colour screen, MMS and CIF Camera) and the flexible A76 (with GPRS capability and a hands-free feature).

The AL21 from Siemens – available in “Red Temptation” and “Magic Black” - has more than physical appeal: it can handle serious business with its complete organiser and messaging functions.

Offering consumers this range of choice in terms of design, style and performance is one of the aims of Siemens. More than 150 years old, Siemens has its headquarters in Berlin and Munich. It is one of the global leaders in electrical engineering and electronics and is also rated among the top six mobile phone vendors in the world.

In October 2005, the Siemens brand of mobile phones extended its reach when the Munich-based BenQ Corporation acquired Siemens’ mobile phone business unit. BenQ is now a trademark licensee of Siemens AG.
