Bmobile puts fans closer to the game

Secondary School Football goes interactive

Bmobile is joining the throng of football supporters in the hype and excitement that surrounds the Trinidad and Tobago Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL). The mobile service is giving more than $40,000 in sponsorship to the League that hosts well over 30 secondary schools throughout Trinidad & Tobago. Bmobile plans to generate a lot of “BUZZ” in the tournament with mobile chat (bchat), prizes, “text2win” competitions and game results, bringing everyone in on the action.

In a move that is sure to please the many adoring football fans of the League, the bmobile is promising daily uploads of the match results and team standings to its mobile buzz link. “Throughout the entire season, bmobile customers will have unlimited access to the results of the various games and team standings within the competition,” Ag. Head of Mobile Marketing, Camille Campbell explains. “It’s an easy access link to those fans that may not be able to attend their favourite team matches or simply want to keep updated.”

According to Anthony Phillip the SSFL is elated to have bmobile onboard. “Bmobile brings a new dimension of excitement and crowd participation to what is already one of the most popular school football leagues in the country."

The League as always will culminate in the winning teams from each of the five zones (North, South, West, East and Tobago) playing against each other in an intense knock out competition. Marked to be one of the main attractions of the entire League, bmobile will allow supporters to send in their predictions on the final match scores for a chance to win loads of fun prizes.

“This will be the most interactive local football competition ever. Spectators will have a chance to almost be as involved in the game as the players on the field,” said Campbell
