TSTT Foundation & Tidal Wave Aquatics support

For the second consecutive year, the TSTT Foundation will team up with Tidal Wave Aquatics of Trinidad & Tobago to put on the Amateur Swimming Association of Trinidad and Tobago (A.S.A.T.T.) National Secondary Schools’ Swim Meet. Marking the 10th anniversary of Tidal Wave Aquatics, the event will take place at the Dr. Joao Havelange Centre of Excellence Swimming Pool on Sunday, February 4, 2007.

More than 600 children are expected to attend the event from over 40 Secondary Schools throughout Trinidad & Tobago. TSTT’s Manager, Corporate Communications, Camille Salandy explained that “at the very heart of the Foundation’s philosophy is helping our nation’s youth find creative and constructive ways to express themselves. Tidal Wave Aquatics has provided a valid avenue to achieve just. We are happy to support the initiative”

In 2006, the event climaxed with three national records being broken. “Last year’s Swim Meet was an overwhelming success and we expect that 2007 will be bigger and better,” said a grateful Hazel Haynes, Manager Tidal Wave Aquatics of Trinidad & Tobago.
