TSTT making campus life better

12 September, 2006

TSTT has launched special service offers for students at the UWI St. Augustine campus, giving the cost effective means to use communications technology to improve their campus life.

And according to Patricia Mapp, TSTT’s Product Manager Mobile Marketing, the response has been excellent. “Many students are on a tight budget, but they still need to keep in contact with friends and family at home and abroad while juggling tons of research. We can’t eliminate these challenges for them but we can give them the tools to manage these challenges better. Wireless high speed Internet Access with the power of mobile communications is ground-breaking stuff on campus and this is our way of assisting.”

In support of its partnership with the UWI Student Guild, TSTT is a regular at the Guild’s Orientation Week on the St Augustine campus – which initiates new students into university life. The student packages were launched by TSTT at the start of Orientation Week on Monday, September 4, and offer UWI students incredible discounted prices on cell phones and wireless broadband service.

The special packages can be purchased by UWI students solely at the Cellect outlet on the St Augustine campus, which has been TSTT’s exclusive mobile partner at the university since 2005.
