TSTT mourns the passing of Ian Thrush

Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TSTT) announces, with deep regret, that Ian Thrush, Senior Marketing Advisor, has died early this morning, Saturday 25 August, 2007 in a motor vehicle accident.

Initial information indicates that he was involved in a vehicular accident in Maraval Port of Spain. The accident is still under investigation; however, police did confirm that Mr. Thrush, 42, was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Said TSTT's Chief Executive Officer, Roberto Peon; "Needless to say we at TSTT are shocked and saddened at Ian's passing. Ian served as the company's Senior Marketing Advisor since 2004 and played a pivotal role in the company's transition into full competition. He served with distinction and we will miss his wise counsel. But more than that, Ian was a good person. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of distress and mourning."

Ian, Thrush, British national, leaves to mourn his wife Stephanie and three children, all residents of the United Kingdom.
