TSTT offers $25,000.00 Reward.

Port of Spain,Trinidad - TSTT is today mourning the loss of a member of staff who was shot at a job site in Cocorite last night. The company has also extended its condolences to the family and friends of the employee, Outside Plant Attendant Mr. Kenny Goddard on his untimely passing. Mr. Goddard was part of a 14-man TSTT crew installing cables in the vicinity of Mucurapo Road and along the Western Main Road. In accordance with TSTT policy, police officers were also on duty at the work site.

It is reported that around 11:30 PM Sunday night, while near the Peake's gas station, Mr. Goddard was approached by an unknown assailant and shot. It is also reported that the assailant escaped in a waiting car.

Mr. Goddard's colleagues rushed him to West Shore Medical Hospital a short distance away however he was pronounced dead at the hospital . This was a senseless, brutish, selfish attack and the act as well as the perpetrators are to be deplored. TSTT is co-operating fully with the Police in the conduct of their investigations to bring the individuals responsible to justice.

Mr. Goddard had been employed with TSTT for over 6 years and his colleagues have been traumatised by this shocking tragic incident. Executives from TSTT were at the hospital lending support and the affected employees will be given access to counsellors retained by TSTT to help them come to terms with this sad loss. This support will also be extended to Mr. Goddards family.
