For almost two decades, Bsquare has been the heartbeat of free Carnival entertainment, and this year, it is bigger than ever! In 2025, the high-energy concert series returns to both Trinidad and Tobago, bringing an unforgettable lineup of Soca Stars to ignite the festival spirit.
The first stop is Jade Monkey in Crown Point, Tobago, on Monday, February 17 from 8pm - 11pm, where Road March reigning champion, Mical Teja and Soca Princess Nailah Blackman and Neil ‘Iwer’ George, will headline an electrifying showcase of talent. The excitement then shifts to Woodford Square, Port of Spain, on Friday, February 21 from 4pm - 7pm where Bsquare will once again serve as the ultimate pre-Carnival celebration.
For the second consecutive year, bmobile’s expansion of Bsquare to Tobago reinforces its commitment to celebrating and growing Trinidad and Tobago’s vibrant Carnival culture. The Port of Spain leg will also feature a special partnership with the city’s Downtown Carnival launch, further cementing Bsquare’s role as a national cultural pillar.
Carnival lovers can expect not just pulsating performances, but also exciting giveaways, Moko Jumbies, and traditional Carnival characters, making both events immersive cultural experiences.
As part of the grand celebration, the Port of Spain Corporation Downtown Carnival Committee will present its 2025 Cultural Legacy Awards at Bsquare. This year’s honorees include Soca icons Kes the Band, KMC, Sanell Dempster, Ronnie McIntosh, and the All Stars, recognizing their outstanding contributions to Trinidad’s cultural landscape. The event will also feature Yung Bredda—who recently held the #1 spot on AppleMusic.
bmobile’s Assistant Vice President of Consumer Sales, Kashif Greaves, highlighted the significance of bmobile’s Bsquare’s enduring legacy:
"We are more than a technology company; we are part of the community. Carnival is a powerful way to bring people together, and as a company committed to connection and culture, we wanted to give back in a way that resonates within the heart and soul of our people."
Greaves also emphasized that Carnival and Soca are more than entertainment, “They are expressions of national identity, making Bsquare a natural extension of bmobile’s commitment to fostering cultural unity,” he added.
Alongside Teja and Blackman, Bsquare Tobago will feature Soca powerhouse Neil ‘Iwer’ George, 2024 Tobago Soca Titans winner Verse, Juby, and more.
bmobile’s endorsement of Teja, Blackman, Yung Bredda, and George for this year’s Carnival further solidifies its dedication to supporting local talent and the evolution of the Soca industry.
His Worship, Alderman Chinua Alleyne, Mayor of Port-of-Spain welcomed the enhanced collaboration with bmobile for the launch of Downtown Carnival and reaffirmed the magnitude of bSquare’s impact.
"We're very excited for this collaboration because bmobile is a leader in telecommunications and ICT (Information and Communications Technology) in Trinidad and Tobago, and they also have a very strong commitment to the development of culture," said Mayor Alleyne. We’ve worked very closely in many ways throughout the years and we're happy to be able to work with bmobile in showcasing the culture of Carnival, the city and in supporting some of our stalwarts in the Soca industry who have made a significant contribution," said Mayor Alleyne.
As Bsquare continues to grow, evolve, and unite Carnival lovers across both islands, it remains a cornerstone of Carnival’s cultural celebration—where rhythm meets legacy and community meets connection.
